Remember how I said that seeing a live sumo match was on my list of things to do before leaving Japan? That was one that got checked off pretty easily. It was fun and well worth it.

Well, a month or two ago, I did something I never thought I'd do in a million years. I visited an authentic sumo stable (training school) and ate an authentic sumo meal with authentic sumo wrestlers. Did I seek this out? No. It's one of those things that life throws at you just to show you that the universe is way more creative than you are.
